January, 11th, 2008 - The first day of Sled Jam freestyle competition was full of big air and big tricks. Tinger stoked up the local crowd with the yooper air, stalefish, and seat grabs. As always Kourtney Hungerford ruled the seat grab tricks but also did a huge cliffhanger and almost won the best trick contest. Paul Thacker showed he isn't afraid to go superman style and got himself shoved off the Monster Energy Polaris IQ nicely. Canadian Jeff Mullin had some sled troubles but still managed to throw some huge superman seat grab indian airs. Finally, Justin Hoyer won the best trick contest with the ruler.....or was it a Tsunami...sometimes I can't tell the difference but no matter what it was HUGE and the crowd loved it.

Oh yeah, it's SNOWING!!! You better get yourself out to Sled Jam tomorrow to see these boys really throw down.
